From Wealth to Philanthropy: The Power of Noncash Giving
Presented by: Jackie Franey and Russell James
Too many philanthropic conversations revolve around gifts of cash. We know that many donors lack awareness of the range of available giving vehicles and options for making a significant gift to charity. We also know that many fundraisers struggle with discussing noncash gifts for a variety of reasons, including a lack of support from organizational leaders. This session will offer compelling research-driven approaches for discussing noncash asset giving with donors, and for supporting a noncash assets culture within an organization. Everyone benefits from a systematic and strategic way to incorporate asking for noncash assets.
