CGP is committed to creating an event experience where our attendees’ safety is a top priority. We are taking extra precautions, beyond those mandated by government and local authorities. Read on to find out what health and safety measures we have in place.
 

Before You Arrive

  • Have you completed a self-assessment, and are you symptom-free? If you feel sick, please stay home. You can refer to the CDC’s COVID-19 Self-Checker reference guide for any questions on symptoms by clicking here

  • Check your flight and travel arrangements. View hotel, airline and travel health and safety information. 
  • Please make sure you have packed face masks; this is required at all times. Please review the rules and regulations to confirm. Masks will also be provided if one is needed.

  • Before the conference begins and throughout the conference, we will conduct inspections to ensure the venue is safe, clean, and ready for business. 

Arriving at CGP Conference

  • We are taking additional measures on-site to ensure your health and safety at the CGP Conference. Please allow for extra time when arriving to check-in and attend sessions, meals and our exhibit hall.

  • Make sure you have a face mask; EVERYONE is required to wear a mask at all times. Masks will also be provided if one is needed.
  • No hugs or handshakes this year. CGP Conference has a no-contact policy in place.
  • Transparent barriers will be placed on the registration counters for enhanced safety and our staff will regularly clean all equipment.
  • Before receiving your badge onsite and entering the CGP Conference, you will be asked to acknowledge and accept our Terms and Conditions. Please review the document before arriving to gain entry as quickly as possible.

At CGP Conference

  • Again, make sure you have a face mask; this is required at all times. Masks will also be provided if one is needed.

  • Please follow all recommended Health & Safety measures, including stay 6 feet away from one another; wash your hands often; cover your cough or sneeze.
  • We’ve designed the conference to allow for social distancing and one-way entrances/exits as much as possible.
  • Exhibitors will have the option to order enhanced cleaning and disinfection services for their booths.
  • Daily disinfecting will take place to sanitize all seating, restrooms, and frequently touched public areas.
  • Feeling sick unexpectedly at the conference? Off-site care and testing are available. We will work with you to get you the care you need.

With two ways to participate, CGP Conference is accessible to more people than ever. All attendees will have access to education, exhibits and networking.

The In-Person Experience

In-person attendees will have access to all the sessions presented in Orlando, as well as access to all virtual sessions. Participate in unique networking opportunities and interact with presenters and other attendees in an informal setting. Nothing can replace the energy and connections of an in-person meeting. 

Best for: in-person networking in addition to your educational experience.

The Virtual Experience

Virtual attendees will gather online to participate. Virtual attendees will be able to interact with presenters and other attendees through the conference platform. Virtual sessions will be recorded and available for on-demand viewing until Dec. 31, 2021. 

Best for: access to educational content and for those who need the flexibility of a remote experience.

Q: When and where is CGP Conference?

A: During the week of September 20-24, a variety of live learning and networking events will be scheduled for virtual conference attendees. Content from the virtual conference will remain online through Dec. 31, 2021.

The in-person experience is October 4-6 at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, Florida. The cost of the live experience includes all the on-demand and scheduled programming in the virtual experience.

Q: How can I book a hotel?

A: CGP has negotiated a discounted rate for all conference attendees which includes reduced onsite parking, no resort fee and rate available three days before and three days after the conference.  View rates and book a room. Conference rates available until September 13, 2021. 

Q: What is Charitable Gift Planners doing to ensure a safe and healthy conference?

A: CGP has put together the following health and safety information.  We are also working closing with the Rosen Centre hotel and local health officials to follow all local guidelines.

Q: What is the dress code?

A: Attire is business casual. Feel free to be comfortable in slacks, polo shirts, sweaters, blazers, blouses and most importantly, comfortable shoes. We do recommend that you dress in layers as temperatures in meeting rooms can vary. 
 

Q: In the past, CGP had on-site registration rates. Will this be the case for the 2021 meeting?

A: Registration for the 2021 conference will only have early-bird and regular rates in order to provide all registrants with the lowest rate possible. The in-person registration cut-off is Sept. 20. On-site registration will be permitted.

Q: What is the event cancellation policy?

A: CGP reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If CGP cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, CGP has the right to either issue a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.
