Scholarships
Each year, CGP offers first-time conference attendees the opportunity to attend CGP Conference and become a CGP member. Scholarships are funded through the generosity of individual donors, councils, and companies dedicated to supporting the broader profession of charitable gift planning.

Advocacy 
CGP is your voice on Capitol Hill. Working with community members, CGP advocates for policies to advance charitable giving. To raise awareness of the impact and value charitable gift planning has in the philanthropic sector, CGP is now collaborating with Integer, a well-established advocacy firm in the non-profit sector based in Washington, DC.

National Standards for Gift Planning Success
The National Standards for Gift Planning Success (NSGPS) describes the fundamental best practices of a well-constructed, sustainable gift planning effort. The National Standards for Gift Planning Success give professionals and leaders to make charitable giving possible. Whether the budget is large or small, NSGPS describes the fundamentals for programs of all sizes. 

Research Initiatives
In 2024, CGP invited members to participate in a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) demographics survey and Compensation Survey. These surveys gather critical data and comprehensive information to better inform gift planners and further strengthen the planned giving sector.
