CGP Conference
The annual CGP Conference serves as a premier professional development event where gift planning and philanthropic professionals can earn substantial educational credits in one location. The conference includes various sessions covering a range of topics across charitable giving.
Continuing Education Opportunities at CGP Conference:
- CAP® (Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy): All sessions are expected to be confirmed for credit. Read about CAP requirements here.
- CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive): All sessions are expected to be confirmed for CFRE credit. Following the conference, a points tracker and certificate of attendance will be available in the Attendee Hub.
- CFP® (Certified Financial Planner): Appropriate sessions All sessions are expected to be confirmed for CFP credit. A CFP reporting form will be available in the Attendee Hub following the conference.
- CSPG (Certified Specialist in Planned Giving): All sessions are expected to be confirmed for CSPG credit. Read about CSPG requirements here.
While we do not seek approval in advance for Continuing Legal Education credit, attendees at past conferences have successfully submitted conference materials for CLE in their own states.
How to Claim Credit:
A certificate of attendance, points tracker, and additional materials will be available for conference registrants in the CGP Conference App and Attendee Hub.

For ongoing education, the CGP Webinar series offers convenient, focused learning opportunities. All CGP webinars are approved for one hour of CFRE credit. Register for a webinar to join live or view the recording to earn educational credits.
How to Claim Credit:
