Indianapolis, IN -- The National Association of Charitable Gift Planners (CGP) is pleased to announce Brigit Kavanagh, Esq. has been elected to serve as a member of the national Board of Directors. Kavanagh was elected to the board to complete a term through December 2019. She was elected at the Board of Directors meeting held June 30, 2017 in Indianapolis, IN.

Kavanagh is a founding partner of Kavanagh Rhomberg, LLP. For over a decade, she has focused on the laws of nonprofit organizations and charitable gift planning, advising charities, foundations and their donors on nonprofit tax, trust and corporate law. Previously she practiced with Adler & Colvin law firm, handling a range of matters for public charities, private foundations, and charitable donors. She is a current member of the Northern California Planned Giving Council and serves on their Board of Directors.

Ms. Kavanagh joins 18 individuals from throughout the country who serve on the national board that represents over 100 councils and 8,000 professionals in the field of charitable gift planning.
