Press Release: Alaina Leverenz Joins the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners as Marketing and Communications Manager

Indianapolis, IN -- The National Association of Charitable Gift Planners (CGP), the leading organization setting standards for charitable gift planners, has hired Alaina Leverenz as the new Marketing and Communications manager.

Alaina is charged with directing and shaping all external member and non-member communications. She will develop national marketing strategies that encourage brand recognition and adoption across multiple channels, including social media campaigns, email marketing, creation of media assets, marketing copy and channel strategy for NCPP. She will create consistent messaging, and tone through all communications of the CGP national brand to members, prospective members and stakeholders.

Beginning in August of 2016 Alaina previously served as Digital Marketing Intern for CGP. As an intern, Alaina helped execute marketing strategies and initiatives for CGP and its annual meeting, the National Conference on Philanthropic Planning (NCPP). Other duties included website updates, analytics, SEO and keyword search and coordinating email marketing campaigns.

Alaina graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Graphic Design in 2016 from William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri. She relocated to Indianapolis in August of 2016 and is currently working toward a Master of Arts Degree in Applied Communication at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis.
