Building Sustainable "Best in Class" Fundraising Teams

Steven Goodner

One of the biggest challenges faced by any organization is creating a sustainable competitive advantage through their people. People are the most impactful asset in organizations. Creating a strategic plan for people that aligns with attainment of organizational goals is key to achieving success. Finding the "right fit" when on-boarding new team members is critical. This is especially true in the area of philanthropy and fundraising. This session will focus on evaluating current program status and trajectory, creating a strategic plan to move the program to the preferred future, and building and retaining a "Best in Class" fundraising team.
