Six tracks are designed to optimize your conference experience: Stay in one track to meet speakers and other attendees who are dealing with opportunities and constraints like yours or mix and match sessions from various tracks to meet your goals.

Current Events

A challenging year is nearing its end, and more uncertainty is on the horizon. It's never been more important to stay current on developments in the economy, demographics and donor choices and behavior. Speakers in this track will help you leave old assumptions behind and apply research and cultural awareness to your gift planning practice.

Sessions include:

Planned Gift Tech

Vehicles and assets, timing and taxes—these are the interlocking gears that set planned gifts apart from current gifts of cash. In these sessions, expert presenters explore the fundamentals and creative applications of planned gift vehicles.

Sessions include:

Donor Engagement

We say we're "donor-centric," but would donors agree that their goals are at the heart of our practice? In this track, speakers help you ask better questions, listen more carefully and build relationships that grow into gifts.

Sessions include:

Program Administration

Gift planning success requires sustained interest and investment in a program that may take years to produce gifts. In this track, speakers help you build strong program infrastructure, from making the internal case and managing risk to ensuring that gift commitments become gift revenue.

Sessions include:

Major and Blended Gifts

Planned gifts aren't always deferred and major gifts aren't always cash. Sessions in this track build skills for collaboration among fundraising teams and between fundraisers and donor advisors to create the best gifts for a donor's goals and assets.

Sessions include:

Career Track

Wherever you want to go in your career, someone at CGP is happy to point the way. These sessions feature peers, coaches and mentors who will help you set goals, overcome obstacles and focus on the unique strengths you bring to the work of charitable gift planning.
